Blogs: good for your business!

Have you caught on to the growing trend of blogging? Blogs are an opportunity for every employee, no matter his or her role in an organization, to become a positive voice for the company. Blogs give website viewers and potential customers an insight into the personality of the company and its employees.
ADsmith helped Rick and Jane McElvaine of Maxon's Diamond Merchants launch their blog with a redesigned website in October 2007. Both Rick and Jane share stories of helping customers find the perfect jewelry for the special occasion and stories of sentimental jewelry in their own lives. The blog feature also allows the McElvaines to post about exclusive inventory, special sales or other company information.
If the idea of a blog is potentially confusing to either you or your clients, think of it as simply a news article or journal entry. A blog feature operating under the guise of a news article is the Trust Company of the Ozarks' Insights. Finding a trustworthy information source about markets and other financial management issues is as simple as reading this blog.
